Lockdown again
Number 8 Network wasn’t sure Gordonton and surrounds were part of the move to level 3, announced yesterday.
Rural areas north of Hamilton and south of Huntly – Puketaha, Gordonton, Orini, Horsham Downs etc – were not specifically mentioned.
But the map, left, found on the Ministry’s website this morning, suggests we are indeed included. Just as well we did a big supermarket shop recently.
The lockdown extends from Raglan, north to Te Kauwhata, Huntly, and Ngāruawāhia and will be reviewed in five days.
The move comes after the Ministry of Health reported two new positive Covid-19 community cases in the Waikato on Sunday morning.
In the meantime, anyone who has Covid-19 symptoms is asked to please get tested, and isolate until the result is received.
