Lunar eclipse tonight!
Look up in the sky! The first lunar eclipse of 2021 is taking place tonight, and you can see it from Gordonton. If the clouds aren’t in the way, as they were when we took this photo back in 2011.
Experts say the event begins around 8.47pm, but you probably won’t notice much change in the Moon until it starts to enter the full shadow of the Earth (umbra) at 9.44pm. Total eclipse lasts from 11.11pm to 11.25pm.

PS we will try to take a photo and would love to see anyone else’s pics. Please send them in!
