Christmas at Gordonton Country Market
The next Gordonton Country Market is this Saturday – and it’s a grand time to do some Christmas shopping.
Stallholders will be making the most of the day – serving up good cheer as well as a huge range of locally made treats.
Great food is on offer – including Turkish, raw vegan and Christmas cakes and sweets, as well as food from the kiwi barbie. Fresh coffee and flowers, plants, crafts, toys and leather products – the December market is a great opportunity for Christmas shopping in a relaxing setting.
Gifts galore include clothing, crafts, children’s toys and garden art while you catch up with friends and family in a great community atmosphere, says Judy Chrystall. “There will be music and of course Devonshire teas in the old school house.”
The market starts at 9am and can be found in Gordonton’s Hukanui Park, rain or shine. Although let’s hope for shine.
