Dog love: Meet Chloe

Cherie Baker runs DC Rescue Dogs in Gordonton. Number 8 Network regularly showcases a special canine star in need of a new home.

Meet the lovely Chloe.  This young lass was abandoned in a rural area notorious for dog dumping in the Waikato.

Poor Chloe was on death row at the pound, so DC Rescue Dogs picked her up and she hasn’t looked back.

Who’s a cool young pup?

Some sort of collie cross, Chloe is about eight month’s old.

She is great with the shelter’s cat, a little stand-offish with other dogs but once she knows them loves to play.

She enjoys finishing off ice creams on hot days, and sunbathing on the deck. Chloe is a very loyal girl who would make a super companion for someone living in a rural paradise.

She will go to her new home desexed, fully vaccinated for parvo and lepto, microchipped, is worm/flea treated and is registrated with NZCAR and Waikato Council.

An adoption donation of $280 is asked to help recover part of her rescue costs.

If you would like to meet Chloe, email Cherie or phone her on 021 041 4108.  Cherie Baker

DC Rescue Dogs is a non-profit organisation run by Cherie, at her own cost.  Number 8 Network thinks she’s doing a fantastic job.

Who cares who was her mum, even less who was her dad – Chloe looks to be a “personality.”

Isn’t she the little star, though? I’m very tempted, but my cat would have words with me.
