Dog Love: Meet Autumn
Cherie Baker runs DC Rescue Dogs in Gordonton. Number 8 Network regularly showcases a special canine star in need of adoption.
This lovely pup is ready for a home of her own. Fun-loving and with a heart of gold, this sweetie adores people.
Autmun has been badly let down by her previous owners, ending up in a pound. Black dogs are invisible in these places, with nothing on the horizon and her name on ‘the list,’ DC Rescue Dogs had to step in and help such a deserving soul.
Breed: mixed
Age: six months (give or take)
Personality: in spades!
Gorgeous Autumn is blossoming in foster care and is great with the resident cats and dogs there. She has gone on group walks twice with more than 60 other dogs and was just brilliant both times.
She has a loving nature, plays well with other dogs and is a good traveller.
Autumn will go to her new home desexed, council registered, microchipped, worm and flea treated. An adoption donation of $280 is asked to help recover part of her rescue costs.
Owner occupied/fully fenced properties are a condition of adoption.
If you would like to meet the lovely Autumn contact Cherie, by email or phone 021 041 4108.
DC Rescue Dogs is a non-profit organisation run by Cherie, often at her own cost. Number 8 Network thinks she’s doing a fantastic job.
Finally, remember this little fella to the right? Master Jack has found a lovely home on a lifestyle block just out of Hamilton. Good, eh.
