Dog Love: Meet Jack
Cherie Baker runs DC Rescue Dogs in Gordonton. Once a fortnight Number 8 Network will showcase her canine stars in need of adoption.
Meet Jack – a loveable, fun and charming foxy, bright as a button and clearly far fleeter of foot than his friend.
At 4 to 5 years old, this little fella has had quite a hard life but despite this he is an awesome companion and enjoys the outdoors.
Jack is currently on foster in Gordonton on a farm where he loves going on adventures with his foster mum.
He is good with stock and other dogs.
Jack will go to his new home desexed, council registered, microchipped, worm and flea treated.
If you would like to meet Master Jack (or any other canine stars), get in touch with Cherie, email or phone her on 021 041 4108.
There is an adoption fee and all donations are greatly appreciated – DC Rescue Dogs is a non-profit organisation run totally by Cherie, often at her own cost. Number 8 Network thinks she’s doing a fantastic job.
But wait – there’s more: Cherie is holding a car boot sale to help raise funds. You can donate goods for her to sell, and of course, pop by on the day, Saturday 26 July from 7am to 12 in the Huntly War Memorial Hall. There are a few spots left for other stall holders.

I think you’re a princess!
Nay, ’tis not me, but Cherie! (Does this mean you want Jack? Can deliver…)
