Lettuce be friends…
Look who is hiding amongst the lettuce seedlings. It’s a bell frog, introduced from Australia in the 19th Century. This fine little fellow was photographed by an eagle-eyed reader in Tamahere, while she was tending her spring plants.
We think she had best be careful when making salads…
