Market celebrations

Happy birthday to the Country Market – celebrating one year of awesomeness in Gordonton today.  It was a windy old day but that didn’t stop folk from strolling about, chatting and enjoying the atmosphere.

There were plenty of cars needing parking direction and this lad showed us just the place –

Welcome, says the… cat in the hat –

There was face painting –

A bouncy castle to jump on and in –

Places friends could hang out –

And treats for all –

Which meant, official cake cutting –

Yippee!  Well done and thank you, all the hardworkers who bring us this wonderful market.  Here’s to next year!
