Congratulations to Rod Wise and Vaughan Jones for receiving recognition in today’s Queen’s Birthday Honours for their many years of service. Both have long associations with the district.

Rodney James Wise, Hamilton, for services to the community. Queen’s Service Medal.

Ulric Vaughan Leon Jones, Hamilton, for services to the farming industry. Officer of the NZ Order of Merit.
