ANZAC 2013
For a handful, ANZAC Day in Gordonton began at 6 this morning at the Cenotaph:
The crowds turned up at 10am for the main event, starting at the Hall, followed by the laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph.
Bugler Andrew Milson played the Last Post:
Ross Hopkins and daughter-in-law Susan once again brought out some of their heritage vehicles –
And we remembered those who fell 98 years ago.
The Ceremony was organised by the ANZAC committee of Gordonton and was chaired by Commander Brett Fottheringham. Click here to see photographs from last year’s service. Oh, and if you would like a copy of a pic, give Annette Taylor a yell.
