Lift off for country market!
The sun shone, the forecast rain didn’t arrive and everyone had an utterly splendid time.
Months of planning and attention clearly paid off as folk came from all around to enjoy the first ever Gordonton Country Market. N8N was there (along with most of the Waikato).
Here’s to many, many more and congratulations to all who made this great idea a reality.
The markets are held on the second Saturday of every month, the next will be on 13 October, from 8.30am to 1pm. Visit the market website, here. And see you there!

Couldn’t make it this time, but got a corner of the fudge Sandra bought (yum!). I plan to be there next time. Great photos Annette.
What? She gave me no fudge! Would be grand to see you there, Sir. We can collect up treats and have lunch afterwards at 122.
Was a great day!!! Well done to everyone that organized it!!! Love the photo of my honey! Isn’t he lovely!
Yes, he is! It was a grand day, here’s to more of them!
I will certainly be there next month, it looks great !!
What a shame, I can’t see the photos you took in our stool, I hope in future you can publish all the photos.
The Market was excellent from the beggining to the end, we will come back.
Thank you
Maria and Carlos
Hi there – thanks for your comment, there were more than 180 photographs from the first Gordonton Market – not all could go in the slideshow for obvious reasons! See you at the next one in October.
Great photos, thanks for showing them Annette. Thanks to all of the stallholders with an amazing variety of food, craft and produce and to the customers who came to the market, see you again on 13th October?
