Te Radar coming to Tauhei (or nearby)
Te Radar – satirist, writer, comedian and self-confessed failed gardener – is the star act at a fund raiser for Tauhei Combined School.
Mr Radar says he’s excited about the prospect of another show in the Waikato and is looking forward to performing in Morrinsville.
“It’s always great to be away from the bigger cities, towns and out in the smaller communities like the one I grew up in at Ohinewai.”
He will perform Eating the Dog, which is an irreverent look at some of the more notable characters and events from New Zealand’s history.
Tauhei’s Angela Martin says the school is once again raising money for IT equipment for students.
Eating the Dog is held at Morrinsville Intermediate Hall on 12 July, doors open at 6.30pm and the show starts at 7pm. Tickets are available from Tauhei School or Morrinsville Information Centre.
Mr Radar promises one day to spend quality time in Gordonton. “Goodness knows I have driven through there enough times over the years. It’s probably about time I stopped longer than the time it takes to buy an ice cream.”
N8N would like it known that the best ice creams in New Zealand are sold by Mich and Yorng Dul at Coastal Connection.
